Start under the northern lights in Iceland, stop in Edinburgh and Dublin, then head south to the lantern-filled souks of Marrakech and on to East Africa: an acacia at sunset in the Maasai Mara, the grasslands of the Serengeti and the old coral-stone lanes of Stone Town on Zanzibar.

Glide through the Okavango Delta, walk among the dead trees of Deadvlei beneath red dunes and stand on Table Mountain above Cape Town. Then cross the Indian Ocean island by island: the baobabs of Madagascar, Le Morne on Mauritius and the granite beaches of the Seychelles, before Sigiriya’s rock fortress in Sri Lanka and the gardens of Singapore.

Next come the rice terraces of Bali, Uluru glowing at sunrise, the white sails of the Sydney Opera House and the steep green walls of Milford Sound in New Zealand.

Then the Pacific: overwater bungalows in the Bora Bora lagoon and the moai of Easter Island lead on to South America, from the granite towers of Torres del Paine to Machu Picchu and Sugarloaf Mountain above Rio. Head north to the Maya ruins of Tulum on the Caribbean coast, the colourful streets of Havana and the Manhattan skyline at night.

The last leg crosses the North Atlantic: the painted houses of Jellybean Row in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and icebergs glowing at sunset in the Sermilik Fjord in Greenland, before you land back in Iceland to finish under the northern lights over Kirkjufell, where the circle closes.

De las auroras boreales de Islandia a la vuelta completa al globo: hacia el sur por África, por el océano Índico hasta Nueva Zelanda, sobre el Pacífico hasta Sudamérica y de regreso por el Atlántico, en treinta rompecabezas.

["post-124","journey","type-journey","status-publish","hentry
["GET
