Su color aparece en un punto donde se juntan dos arroyos transparentes: los minerales del volc\u00e1n forman diminutas part\u00edculas en el agua que dispersan la luz del sol y la hacen parecer azul. La catarata del r\u00edo cae unos 30 metros a una poza del mismo color.
