Los trozos de hielo m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os que se desprenden de ellos se llaman en ingl\u00e9s bergy bits y growlers, este \u00faltimo por el gru\u00f1ido que, seg\u00fan se dice, hacen al escapar el aire atrapado mientras se derriten.
