Su fuerte, construido en el siglo XVII, tiene una amplia torre circular dise\u00f1ada para proteger la ciudad y las rutas cercanas a los montes Hajar. Las palmeras datileras crecen alrededor del asentamiento y forman un oasis verde en un paisaje por lo dem\u00e1s seco.
