Su agua es fr\u00eda todo el a\u00f1o, apenas supera unos pocos grados incluso en agosto, porque baja directamente de los glaciares. En verano se pueden alquilar canoas en el embarcadero, y desde la orilla suben senderos al lago Agnes y a la llanura de los Seis Glaciares.
