Se construy\u00f3 en 1876, con la casa del farero unida a la torre cuadrada de madera, y guio a los barcos por el estrecho de Northumberland durante m\u00e1s de un siglo. Hoy es un museo sobre la vida en la isla y los naufragios. Para su tama\u00f1o, la isla tiene m\u00e1s de 60 faros.
