En el hemisferio sur las estaciones est\u00e1n invertidas, as\u00ed que las calabazas se cosechan m\u00e1s o menos de marzo a mayo. La calabaza es muy querida en la cocina sudafricana, desde la sopa hasta los bu\u00f1uelos dulces.
