Su santuario se construy\u00f3 sobre el agua, de modo que con la marea alta parece flotar, y su enorme puerta torii roja se alza en el mar a unos doscientos metros de la orilla. La puerta no est\u00e1 enterrada en el fondo, sino que se sostiene por su propio peso.
