Sus c\u00fapulas fueron destruidas en un bombardeo en 1945 y sustituidas por tejados m\u00e1s sencillos, pero en 2012 la estaci\u00f3n recuper\u00f3 su aspecto original. Hoy es la principal terminal de los trenes bala, con miles de trenes al d\u00eda, y da a una amplia plaza que lleva al Palacio Imperial.
