Para alojarlos se construy\u00f3 el Palacio de los Papas en solo unos veinte a\u00f1os, y es el mayor palacio g\u00f3tico del mundo. Sus enormes muros y torres lo hac\u00edan parecer m\u00e1s una fortaleza que una residencia. Hoy es un museo, y su patio principal se convierte en teatro durante el famoso Festival de Avi\u00f1\u00f3n, cada mes de julio.
