Se eleva bruscamente en una curva lo bastante alta para que pasen barcos por debajo, y desde algunos \u00e1ngulos parece retorcerse y acabar en el aire, lo que le vali\u00f3 los apodos de puente borracho o carretera a ninguna parte. Aparece en pel\u00edculas, anuncios de coches e innumerables fotos de viaje.
