Las monta\u00f1as de las Lofoten se alzan directamente desde el mar hasta unos mil metros, por eso desde tierra firme a las islas se las llama a veces el Muro de las Lofoten. Fot\u00f3grafos de todo el mundo vienen por la luz de aqu\u00ed, que cambia r\u00e1pidamente con el tiempo.
