Al otro lado del fiordo se ven las monta\u00f1as de tierra firme, y entre ellas, en verano, el sol de medianoche recorre el cielo muy bajo sin llegar a ponerse. En invierno, el sol desaparece por completo durante unas semanas, y el cielo brilla en colores suaves a mediod\u00eda.
