La mayor\u00eda de los historiadores fechan el edificio actual en el siglo XV, aunque el lugar puede ser m\u00e1s antiguo. Dentro de sus gruesos muros, una sala central con c\u00fapula est\u00e1 rodeada de unas treinta peque\u00f1as habitaciones donde los viajeros y sus animales se refugiaban del fr\u00edo.
