Las olas y el viento han abierto un arco natural en la roca mayor, lo bastante ancho para que lo crucen barcas peque\u00f1as cuando el mar est\u00e1 en calma. Las rocas deben su nombre a las palomas salvajes que anidan en sus huecos.
