La fortaleza de ladrillo rojo se fund\u00f3 en el siglo XIII, cay\u00f3 en ruinas y fue restaurada despu\u00e9s. Hoy el castillo y la reserva que lo rodea conservan historias de la Livonia medieval y vistas de bosques y r\u00edo. Desde arriba, la torre de ladrillo destaca entre una amplia cubierta de \u00e1rboles verdes.
