En su extremo oriental, junto a un viejo puente de piedra, est\u00e1 la peque\u00f1a iglesia de San Juan Bautista, cuyas paredes interiores est\u00e1n cubiertas de frescos pintados entre los siglos XIV y XVI. El lago se alimenta de arroyos de monta\u00f1a y de la cascada Savica, y su agua sigue fresca incluso en verano.
