Las hayas suelen vivir entre 150 y 250 a\u00f1os, as\u00ed que estas ya son muy viejas, y en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os las tormentas han derribado varias; con parte de la madera ca\u00edda se han tallado puertas y adornos. La avenida se hizo famosa en todo el mundo al aparecer como el Camino Real en la serie Juego de Tronos.
