Lo fundaron familias musulmanas de pescadores que se instalaron aqu\u00ed en el siglo XVIII, y hoy unas dos mil personas viven entre casas, tiendas y una mezquita unidas por pasarelas de madera. Como no hab\u00eda tierra plana, en 1986 los chicos del pueblo construyeron con tablones su propio campo de f\u00fatbol flotante, y el equipo local se hizo conocido.
