Detr\u00e1s se alza una alta nave de hierro y cristal para los trenes. A comienzos del siglo XXI la estaci\u00f3n se ampli\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n bajo tierra, y hoy los trenes circulan en tres niveles, algunos atravesando la ciudad por debajo. Justo al lado est\u00e1 el zoo de Amberes, uno de los m\u00e1s antiguos del mundo.
