Se construy\u00f3 en 1979 y 1980 como el decorado de Sweethaven para la pel\u00edcula musical Popeye, dirigida por Robert Altman y protagonizada por Robin Williams. El equipo trajo madera del extranjero y levant\u00f3 un rompeolas para proteger el decorado. Despu\u00e9s del rodaje el pueblo se conserv\u00f3 y se convirti\u00f3 en una atracci\u00f3n con actores disfrazados, un peque\u00f1o cine y paseos en barco.
