Sus casas se alzan sobre pilotes de madera de hasta diez metros, porque el lago cambia much\u00edsimo de tama\u00f1o: en la estaci\u00f3n de lluvias el Mekong crece tanto que el r\u00edo Tonl\u00e9 Sap invierte su curso y el lago se hace varias veces m\u00e1s grande. En la estaci\u00f3n seca los pilotes quedan sobre tierra firme. La mayor\u00eda de las familias vive de la pesca y durante medio a\u00f1o se mueve en barca.
