La rodean negros acantilados volc\u00e1nicos, y de sus aguas surgen peque\u00f1as islas volc\u00e1nicas, entre ellas la isla del Diablo. Las leyendas locales hablan de esp\u00edritus que viven en sus profundidades. De octubre a febrero los tiburones ballena se re\u00fanen en estas aguas para alimentarse y atraen a buceadores de todo el mundo.
