About Triple J Hotel, Dawson City, Yukon

Dawson City was born in the Klondike Gold Rush after gold was found in a nearby creek in 1896, and within two years it grew into a town of around 30,000 people. When the gold ran out, most of them left. Today about 1,500 people live here among wooden false-front buildings, board sidewalks and unpaved streets that still look much as they did in the gold rush days.

Puzzle tip: the white hotel front and its lettering are the key; the hills and the sky come next.
