About Gapstow Bridge in Autumn, Central Park

Gapstow Bridge is a stone bridge that crosses the Pond in the south-east corner of Central Park in New York City. The first bridge here, made of wood and iron, was replaced by this one of rough stone in 1896. Central Park was opened in 1858 to a design by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, and almost all of its hills, lakes and woods were shaped by hand. In autumn its trees turn red and gold right in the middle of Manhattan.

Puzzle tip: the stone arch and its reflection make a clear shape; the colourful leaves around it come next.
