About Blue Iceberg Reflected in the Sermilik Fjord

A large iceberg lies perfectly reflected in the still water of the Sermilik Fjord in East Greenland. Its bright blue colour comes from ice that has been squeezed so hard that almost all the air bubbles have gone: dense ice like this absorbs the red part of sunlight and lets the blue pass through. Icebergs that have rolled over in the water often show this smooth blue ice, while their tops stay white with snow and old, bubbly ice.

Puzzle tip: the iceberg and its reflection are almost the same shape, so build them together; the sky and the water are the hardest part.
