About Autumn Aspens below the Teton Range

In late September the aspens and cottonwoods of Grand Teton National Park turn gold, orange and red. This is also the season when elk gather in the valley and the bulls bugle to attract mates. The Snake River and the quiet backwaters along it, such as Oxbow Bend, reflect the trees and the peaks behind them, and are good places to see moose, otters and pelicans. In this photo bright autumn trees line the water below snowy summits, all doubled in the calm surface.

Puzzle tip: start with the golden trees and their reflections, then the snowy peaks, and finish with the sky and water.
