About Casa Rosada, Buenos Aires

The Casa Rosada, or Pink House, is the office of the President of Argentina, on the Plaza de Mayo in the centre of Buenos Aires. It was completed in 1898 by joining two older buildings, and its pink colour is one of the most recognisable sights in the country. The square in front of it has been the stage for many important moments in Argentina's history.

Puzzle tip: the pink walls make an easy start; the lamp post and the paths of the square come next, and the blue sky last.
