About Perito Moreno Glacier, Argentina

The Perito Moreno Glacier in Los Glaciares National Park, in Argentine Patagonia, is a river of ice about 30 kilometres long that flows down from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Its front is a wall of ice rising up to about 70 metres above Lake Argentino, and huge blocks often break away and crash into the water. Unlike most glaciers in the world, it has hardly shrunk in recent decades.

Puzzle tip: the jagged blue ice at the bottom is full of detail; the snowy peaks come next and the white clouds last.
