About Calanques near Marseille

The Calanques are narrow inlets of turquoise sea cut deep into white limestone cliffs along the coast between Marseille and Cassis. Since 2012 they have been protected as a national park, the first in Europe to include land and sea right next to a big city. Hikers follow rocky paths to hidden coves, and boats bring swimmers to beaches that cannot be reached by road.

Puzzle tip: the pine trees and the pale rocks are easy to separate; the sea and sky are best sorted by shade.
