About Castillo Carlota Palmerola, Areguá

Areguá is a small hillside town on the shore of Lake Ypacaraí, about 30 kilometres east of Asunción, known for its pottery workshops, its artists and its strawberry festival. Many wealthy families from the capital built summer houses here, and one of the most striking is the Castillo Carlota Palmerola, a white mansion with towers and battlements that looks like a small castle. Close to the town, the Cerro Kõi hill has rare rock formations of sandstone shaped into six-sided columns. This photo shows the white castle at the end of a path through a green lawn.

Puzzle tip: start with the white castle and its towers, then the trees on both sides and the green lawn and path.
