About Notre-Dame from the Seine, Paris

Notre-Dame de Paris stands on the Île de la Cité, the island in the Seine where Paris began. Building started in 1163 and took nearly two hundred years. After a fire destroyed its roof and spire in 2019, the cathedral was carefully restored and reopened in December 2024. From the riverbank, sightseeing boats glide past its twin towers.

Puzzle tip: the boat and the stone bridge give strong shapes at the bottom; the towers and the trees fill the middle.
