About Sugarloaf Mountain, Rio de Janeiro

Sugarloaf Mountain rises almost 400 metres straight out of Guanabara Bay at the entrance to Rio de Janeiro's harbour. Its name is said to come from the cone-shaped blocks in which sugar was once sold. Since 1912 a cable car has carried visitors to the top, first to the smaller Morro da Urca and then up to the summit, where the whole city spreads out below.

Puzzle tip: the rounded shape of the mountain against the blue sky is the key; the water and forest come next.
