About The Dune du Pilat at Sunset

The Dune du Pilat stands at the entrance to the Bay of Arcachon, famous for its oysters. Opposite it, out in the water, lies the Banc d'Arguin, a sandbank that is a nature reserve for sea birds. Visitors climb the dune on a long wooden staircase in summer, then walk along the soft crest and run back down the slopes. At sunset the sand turns pink and orange and the ocean glows. In this photo the long sandy ridge stretches away towards the horizon, with the sea on the left and the dark forest on the right under a pastel sky.

Puzzle tip: start with the pink sand of the ridge, then the dark forest and the sea, and finish with the pale evening sky.
