About Palacio de Valle, Cienfuegos

Cienfuegos, on a large bay on Cuba's south coast, was founded in 1819 by French settlers, and its elegant centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the tip of the Punta Gorda peninsula stands the Palacio de Valle, finished in 1917 for a wealthy merchant. Its towers and arches mix Moorish, Gothic and Venetian styles, and today it houses a restaurant with a terrace on the roof.

Puzzle tip: the white towers and arches are the centre; the palm trees and the blue sky come next.
