About Young Island, Saint Vincent

Young Island is a small, wooded island just off the south coast of Saint Vincent, only a couple of hundred metres from the beach at Villa. Next to it stands Fort Duvernette, a volcanic rock about 60 metres high with the remains of a 19th-century fort on top, reached by steps cut into the stone. Saint Vincent itself is a mountainous island crowned by the La Soufrière volcano.

Puzzle tip: the two small islands are the key shapes; sort the water by its shades of blue.
