About ʻIolani Palace, Honolulu

ʻIolani Palace in Honolulu was the royal residence of the last two monarchs of the Kingdom of Hawaii, King Kalākaua and his sister Queen Liliʻuokalani. Finished in 1882, it had electric light even before the White House. After the monarchy was overthrown in 1893, the queen was later held prisoner in one of its rooms. Today it is a museum and the only royal palace in the United States.

Puzzle tip: the white columns and towers are the key; the sky and the trees come next.
