About Isla Incahuasi, Salar de Uyuni

The Salar de Uyuni in south-west Bolivia is the largest salt flat in the world, a dazzling white plain that covers more than 10,000 square kilometres. It lies high on the Altiplano, at about 3,600 metres. Isla Incahuasi is a rocky hill in the middle of the salt, covered with giant cacti, some of them many centuries old. After rain, the flat turns into a vast mirror.

Puzzle tip: the cacti and the rocks give lots of detail at the bottom; the white salt and the blue sky are smooth, so sort them by shade.
