About Farm among Autumn Hills, Vermont

In early October, the wooded hills of Vermont blaze with red, orange and gold, and visitors from all over the world come to see them, a pastime known as leaf peeping. Much of the colour comes from sugar maples, the same trees whose sap is boiled down each spring to make maple syrup: Vermont produces more of it than any other US state. Old farms with red barns, white houses and small ponds dot the valleys between the Green Mountains.

Puzzle tip: the farmhouse and its barn are the key pieces; the colourful hills are best sorted by colour.
