About Wawel Castle above the Vistula, Kraków

Wawel Hill rises above a bend of the Vistula River in Kraków. For more than five hundred years it was the home of the kings of Poland, who were crowned and buried in its cathedral, until the court moved to Warsaw around 1600. Under the hill lies a cave known as the Dragon's Den. According to legend, a fearsome dragon once lived there until a clever shoemaker tricked it into eating a sheep stuffed with sulphur. Today a bronze dragon by the riverbank breathes real fire every few minutes.

Puzzle tip: the castle and its reflection look alike, so sort the pieces by brightness: the real castle is a little sharper and warmer.
