About Pha That Luang, Vientiane

Pha That Luang is a golden Buddhist stupa in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. Its present form dates largely from a 16th-century rebuilding under King Setthathirath, although the site has a longer religious history. The monument is a national symbol and appears on the country's coat of arms. Each year it becomes the focus of an important Buddhist festival. In the photograph, the gold structure stands against the sky, and its central spire and repeating smaller forms give clear guides for assembling the puzzle.

Puzzle tip: find the central golden spire first, then match the smaller repeated shapes around it.
