About Historic Streets of Mdina

Mdina is a walled city on high ground in the centre of Malta. It served as the island's capital before Valletta and still has narrow streets, stone palaces and churches within its gates. The warm colour of its limestone changes through the day as sunlight moves across the façades. This photograph shows part of the old city with a Maltese flag among the buildings. Use the flag and roof edges to orient the puzzle, then compare the different shades of the stone walls.

Puzzle tip: find the flag and rooflines first, then separate the warm stone façades.
