About Blue Grotto Cliffs, Żurrieq

The Blue Grotto is a group of sea caves and rock arches on Malta's southern coast near Żurrieq. Waves have shaped the limestone cliffs, while sunlight entering the water can produce vivid blue reflections. Boats visit the caves when the sea is calm enough, but the coastal view is also striking from above. This photograph shows pale rock against deep blue water, with the cliff edges making a clear path through the puzzle. Start where the sea meets the rock and leave the similar patches of water until later.

Puzzle tip: follow the pale cliff edges first, then match the changing blues of the sea.
