About Fishing Boats in the Harbour of Tadjoura

Tadjoura, on the north shore of the Gulf of Tadjoura, is the oldest town in Djibouti and was once the seat of an Afar sultanate. Known as the white city for its whitewashed houses and mosques, it stands between the turquoise sea and the bare brown mountains of the Goda massif. For centuries it was a port for caravans bringing salt and goods from the interior, and today small fishing boats crowd its harbour. This photo shows painted wooden boats moored in the calm water, with houses on the shore.

Puzzle tip: start with the blue and white boats, then the houses on the shore, and the water and the sky last.
