About Turquoise Water around Kubbar Island

Kubbar is a tiny sandy island about 30 kilometres off the coast of Kuwait, only a few hundred metres across, with a single tall mast standing in its middle. It is ringed by coral reefs, some of the northernmost in the Persian Gulf, where the water is clear and full of fish. On summer weekends, boats from the mainland anchor in its shallow turquoise water for swimming and snorkelling. No one lives on the island, and it can only be reached by sea.

Puzzle tip: the strip of sand and the boats make a clear line across the middle; the water and the sky are best sorted by shade.
