About Blue Boats on the Coast of Tadjoura

The fishermen of Tadjoura, in Djibouti, paint their small wooden boats in bright blues, greens and whites, and pull them up on the shore between trips. The Gulf of Tadjoura is rich in fish, and its warm, clear water is also home to coral reefs, dolphins and, in winter, whale sharks. Ferries cross the gulf to the capital, Djibouti City, about two hours away. This photo shows a row of colourful fishing boats in the shallow turquoise water near the shore.

Puzzle tip: start with the colourful boats, then the turquoise water, and the shore and the sky last.
