About Virgin River Winding through Zion

The Virgin River is the sculptor of Zion National Park. Over millions of years its waters, carrying sand and stones, have cut the canyon deeper while the land around it slowly rose. Even today a summer flash flood can turn the calm river brown and move huge boulders. Further upstream, hikers walk in the river itself through the Narrows, where the canyon walls are only a few metres apart. Seen from above, the river curves through the green canyon floor between steep red and white walls.

Puzzle tip: follow the bends of the river first, then fill in the green canyon floor and the steep walls on each side.
