About Teton Range at Sunrise

The Teton Range in Wyoming rises straight up from the flat valley of Jackson Hole, without any foothills in front of it. This is because the mountains sit on a fault: over millions of years the block of the range has tilted upward while the valley floor has dropped. Grand Teton, the highest peak, reaches 4,199 metres. Grand Teton National Park was created in 1929 and later enlarged to include most of the valley. In this photo early light falls on the snowy peaks above a river, meadows and forest.

Puzzle tip: build the jagged line of the peaks first, then the dark forest, and finish with the river and meadows.
