About Whale’s Tail at Marino Ballena

In Marino Ballena National Park, near Uvita on Costa Rica's southern Pacific coast, a sandbar and a rocky reef join at low tide to form the shape of a whale's tail. The name fits: from July to October and again from December to April, humpback whales from both the northern and southern hemispheres come to these warm waters to give birth and raise their calves.

Puzzle tip: the tail-shaped sandbar is the centre; sort the sea by its shades of green and blue.
