About Waterton Lakes from the Bear's Hump

A short, steep trail behind the visitor centre climbs to the Bear's Hump, a rocky outcrop with the best-known view in Waterton Lakes National Park. From the top you can see the village of Waterton, the Prince of Wales Hotel and Upper Waterton Lake stretching south into the United States. The lake is one of the deepest in the Canadian Rockies, and a tour boat crosses the border to Goat Haunt in Montana. In this photo the long lake winds between steep mountains and green slopes.

Puzzle tip: start with the mountains on both sides, then the long lake between them, and the green foreground last.
